Child photography

As an experienced independent professional photographer, I specialise in relaxed “lifestyle” shoots taken outdoors and using the natural light and surroundings to capture contemporary portraits full of character.

For me, undertaking photo shoots on location means children are more at ease and relaxed, especially if it is a location you have spent many happy times at. Thus I have a very hands-off approach to child and family photography - preferring to work my shoot around them and what they are doing rather than insisting they do certain things. I find it makes the whole experience a lot less stressful for everyone and that they actually forget they are being photographed.
